Junaid, known for his role in the film ‘Maharaj,’ disclosed that he had auditioned for the movie ‘Laapataa Ladies’ but did not land the part. “I had auditioned for ‘Laapataa Ladies’ as the character Sparsh,” he shared. Despite his efforts, the role went to someone else, but Junaid remains optimistic about his auditions.
In an intriguing twist, Junaid linked his audition for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ to his eventual casting in ‘Maharaj.’ He revealed that his father, Aamir Khan, encouraged him to audition for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha,’ which was seen by Siddharth P Malhotra and Aditya Chopra and led to his role in ‘Maharaj.’
Adding another layer to the story, Junaid mentioned that his father, Aamir Khan, also auditioned for ‘Laapataa Ladies’ for the role that was ultimately played by Ravi Kishan.
