Famed Pakistani comedian and actor Sardar Kamal has passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest. Known for his roles in numerous theatre dramas, popular PTV sitcoms, and comedy shows, Kamal’s death marks a significant loss in the entertainment industry. His impeccable comedy timing and spontaneous jokes earned him widespread acclaim, particularly for his appearances on Dunya TV’s Mazaaqrat, hosted by Imran Ashraf.
Kamal, who recently recorded another episode of Mazaaqrat, was also renowned for his contributions as a writer, director, and actor in various films. He was part of the hit stage show “Janam Janam Ki Maili Chadar” and maintained a friendly rapport with many colleagues in the media industry.
Today, after experiencing severe heart pain at home, Kamal was rushed to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, he did not survive. His passing leaves behind his widow, two sons, and a daughter, all of whom are married.
