Users can still choose other emojis by long-pressing the message to access the reaction tray.
This new tool is set to make interactions faster by allowing reactions to be added directly from the media viewer screen, thus eliminating the need for the longer process of long-pressing and selecting a reaction. However, the feature cannot be disabled, which could lead to accidental reactions while scrolling through old messages.
