This fare reduction follows a previous initiative by PIA in June, which also saw price cuts for Umrah flights. The revised fares for pilgrims traveling to Madinah include a two-way ticket from Lahore or Islamabad at Rs86,000 and a two-way ticket from Karachi at Rs76,000, excluding taxes. Previously, these tickets were priced at Rs120,000.
The spokesperson emphasized that these new discounted fares are effective immediately, reflecting PIA’s commitment to making travel more affordable for its passengers.
