The film, which reportedly had a budget of Rs 600 crore, has now crossed the impressive milestone of Rs 900 crore globally, with significant contributions from Indian markets.
According to reports from Sacnilk.com, the film earned an estimated Rs 11.35 crore on its second Monday alone. The Hindi version contributed Rs 6.5 crore, while the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions added Rs 4 crore, Rs 70 lakh, Rs 15 lakh, and Rs 50 lakh respectively, bringing the total domestic collection to approximately Rs 521.4 crore.
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is hailed as one of the most expensive films ever made in India and was released globally on June 27 in five different languages. It has quickly climbed the ranks to become one of the top 10 highest-grossing movies in North America.
