‘Kalki 2898 AD’, directed by Nag Ashwin and featuring a star-studded cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, continues to make waves at the box office since its release. The film, which reportedly had a budget of Rs 600 crore, has now crossed the impressive milestone of Rs 900 crore globally, with significant contributions from Indian markets.

According to reports from Sacnilk.com, the film earned an estimated Rs 11.35 crore on its second Monday alone. The Hindi version contributed Rs 6.5 crore, while the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions added Rs 4 crore, Rs 70 lakh, Rs 15 lakh, and Rs 50 lakh respectively, bringing the total domestic collection to approximately Rs 521.4 crore.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is hailed as one of the most expensive films ever made in India and was released globally on June 27 in five different languages. It has quickly climbed the ranks to become one of the top 10 highest-grossing movies in North America.

Looking ahead, director Nag Ashwin confirmed that the team has already completed 60% of the sequel’s shoot, with action scenes remaining to be filmed. As the film continues its successful run, audiences eagerly await further developments and the eventual release of its highly anticipated sequel.
