Nani’s Saripodhaa Sanivaaram collects over Rs 2.50 crore for premiere shows in United States of America | Hindi Movie News

The success of Telugu films like RRR, Kalki 2898 AD, Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire in the United States of America is driven by the growing Telugu-speaking population. And the trend continues with the anticipation of Nani’s Saripodhaa Sanivaaram which has broken all records of Nani’s previous films. The film slated to release across the globe on 29th August.

Just one day away from the premiere shows, the film has sold tickets worth US $ 303,572 from 415 locations and sold nearly 17000 tickets.The film has gotten the widest release for a Nani led film till date, and the collections are expected to hit US $ 600,000 by the end of the shows, as the film has generated a lot of positive publicity. The tickets are priced at US $ 17 for the first week. Decoding the reason behind the mad rush for Telugu films in the USA, Nani said, “One of the big reasons behind these collections, is that a big number of Telugu audiences living in the States are crazy about cinema, especially the premiere shows and the first day. The euphoria, the madness is on a different level… also, it’s not just love for cinema but also that adrenaline rush … you want to be the first one to watch and tell your friends about it.”
The film stars Priyanka Mohan and SJ Suryah in leading roles, and is written and directed by Vivek Atherya. Backed by RRR producer D V V Danayya, it was initially referred to as Nani 31, marking the actor’s 31st lead role.
