In the men’s trap shooting, Great Britain’s Nathan Hales delivered an impressive performance by setting a new Olympic record with 48 out of 50 shots. Hales narrowly missed his own world record but managed to secure gold, finishing ahead of China’s Qi Ying, who took silver. Hales expressed his excitement about becoming an Olympic champion, reflecting on his achievement with pride.

Meanwhile, North Korea made headlines by securing its first Olympic medal since the 2016 Rio Games. The team won silver in mixed doubles table tennis after a close match against China. North Korean athletes Ri Jong Sik and Kim Kum Yong, despite their loss, praised their training with the Chinese team and expressed hopes for future success.
