Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy M55s is edging closer to its official launch. The device has recently passed the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, signaling its availability in India soon. This follows its earlier certification by the Wi-Fi Alliance.
The Galaxy M55s is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. A prototype revealed via a Geekbench run shows that one version will feature 8GB of RAM, with the possibility of more configurations.
Out of the box, the phone will run on Android 14, layered with Samsung’s One UI 6.1. It will support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
These certifications and specifications suggest that the Galaxy M55s will be officially unveiled in the coming weeks.
