Pakistan U19 to Compete in Tri-Series with UAE and Afghanistan

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team will participate in a seven-match ODI tri-series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Afghanistan. The series will take place from November 13 to 26, with the UAE hosting the matches. The venues for the games will be confirmed later.
The series will kick off with a match between Pakistan U19 and UAE U19 on November 13. The top two teams from the initial six matches will advance to the final on November 26. This tri-series is a crucial part of the preparation for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024, scheduled for December.
To help players prepare and earn their spot in the final squad, the PCB will also organize a National U19 Cup and a three-day Championship event in October. Usman Wahla, Director International at PCB, expressed enthusiasm about the tri-series, highlighting it as a valuable opportunity for young players to develop their skills and gain experience.
Wahla also acknowledged the Emirates Cricket Board for facilitating the series and strengthening the bilateral ties between the two cricket boards
