In the podcast, Jannat opened up about her recent breakup and the decision to call off her engagement. She expressed that although she wasn’t ready for the breakup, she felt relieved afterward. “I was not afraid of it, I was happy after that. The thing that could happen in the future has happened before. I think calling off a Nikah or marriage hurts more, so it’s okay that it all ended before,” she shared. Jannat emphasized that the decision was not made in haste but was considered over two years, reflecting a mutual understanding that the relationship wouldn’t work.
Jannat also discussed her marriage plans, expressing a preference for arranged marriages, which she finds more charming and stable. “In my past relationship, I could see multiple issues, there were things which couldn’t be ignored especially regarding marriage because it happens for a lifetime,” she said.
