A shocking leaked video surfaced on Tuesday, revealing an Israeli police dog attacking a 66-year-old Palestinian woman during a raid on the Jabalia refugee camp. The disturbing footage, obtained by Al Jazeera, has ignited social media fury and widespread condemnation.

The video, captured by a camera mounted on the dog, shows the elderly woman, Dawlat Al Tanani, screaming in terror as she is brutally attacked. Al Tanani suffered severe injuries and fractures from the incident, which occurred while she was resisting eviction from her home.

Speaking to Al Jazeera, Al Tanani recounted the harrowing experience. “I refuse to be forced out of my house, nor will I abandon my home. So the Israelis set a dog on me, which bit me while I was sleeping in my bed. It dragged me and pulled me all the way to the entrance door,” she said. “Now I have a serious injury. There are no hospitals or anything to treat my injury. My hand is still untreated.”

The incident has intensified accusations against the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) of committing severe acts of violence and torture against civilians, starkly contrasting with its self-proclaimed status as “the most moral army in the world.”

The leaked video has been widely shared on social media, with users expressing shock and outrage at the extent of the IOF’s brutality. Many activists have pointed out that the use of police dogs against civilians is a longstanding practice by Israeli forces.

One social media user commented, “Israel/Zionist Occupiers brutality clearly has no limits…training dogs to rape and attack Palestinians. The daily massacres are getting more gruesome by the day.”

As the footage continues to circulate, the attack on Dawlat Al Tanani has become a powerful symbol of the ongoing violence and suffering faced by Palestinians.
