Additionally, High Commissioner Rear Admiral SM Abul Kalam Azad, who was stationed in the Maldives, has also been recalled.

News18 further reported that staff members from the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi have been recalled as part of this realignment. This decision represents a major shift in Bangladesh’s diplomatic strategy and signals a reorganization of its foreign representation.
