Chasing a target of 177 runs, South Africa managed to score 169 runs for the loss of 8 wickets, resulting in a narrow 7-run victory for India. Following this remarkable win, the BCCI wasted no time in rewarding the team for their exceptional performance.
In a statement released on the social media platform X, the chairman of the board, Jay Shah, revealed that the Indian team would receive a prize money of 125 crore Indian rupees, equivalent to about 4 billion Pakistani rupees.
